Beans race

Wanna see which is the fastest bean of your garden? Wanna observe how beans roots grow up? You just need a glass, cotton and a piece of cardboard or kitchen paper, several different beans like white beans, red beans, kidney beans, soya beans, cumin beans and aduki beans.
A day earlier, take the beans and leave them in water. On the next day you take a glass filled with humid kitchen paper (or filled with cotton inside the cardboard). Between the cardboard or humid kitchen paper and the glass, you put the beans seeds. Leave a space of three fingers between one and another. There must be some humidity, both in the paper and the cotton... The race has just started! Which bean will be the first to sprout? Which one will take off the first roots? Which one will be the longest?
If you glue the name of each one of them on the glass, you will easily find out who the winner is!
And remember that in order to have a race, there must be humidity! So keep watering every once in a while...
