Minigarden in the balcony
You can plant pumpkin seeds, courgette seeds, tomato seeds –real cherry ones are better because they’re smaller and perfect for balconies size – and pepper.
To do so you just need a pot for each one. The pots, as usual, must have a hole in its end and a finger-size of stones before you put the earth inside. Once filled up of fertilizer, you sow the seeds, separated one from the others, in a pot with minimum 10cm height. You sow the smallest seeds – like cherry tomatoes –at 0,5 cm depth, and the biggest –like pumpkin’s- at 3 cm. Water the pot and close it with a plastic on top of it, until the seeds germinate. Then you take off the plastic and water it again.
Remember to put it in a place with sunrays, but apart from the wind and the cold. Between 7 and 10 days after it has germinated, you can now put the pot wherever you want, but always with sunrays. Keep watering it and leave it to grow until you obtain the fruits. When the fruits have matured under the sun, you’ll be able to eat them. See how good they taste!
You can also plant spinach, carrots, parsley, mint, rosemary, oregano... which you can add to the tomato in a salad...
