Historically, anthropologists divided human race in three great groups: black, mongols and caucasian. Nowadays it is preferable to talk about ethnical groups. Here, we will put the stress on the ethnical minorities.
Ethnical Minorities
They are persons who belong to an existing group of people prior to their colonization, also known as native people. Ethnical minorities have a different social and cultural environment from the dominant group of persons, which is why they suffer discrimination and are usually secluded in reserves. However, native groups of people are completely integrated into nature and can better survive there than other groups of citizens, theoretically more civilised.
After travelling the world, I know that minorities are in danger of extinction because they oppose majorities, in to ways: how they see their own history and how they live. Luckily, there are still many groups that live their own history. The Squirrel and I have had the pleasure to get to know them and to establish friendship with Inuit, Mapuches, Maoris and Massai.
